Frequently Asked Questions

Will I cope with the physical demands of the trails?

Yes.
We plan just the right level of activity so as not to exhaust you. If you are training for an event, we work with you beforehand to work out a suitable programme. If you are on holiday and here for fun, our priority is to ensure you enjoy yourself.

Will I be able to keep up?

Yes.
We go as slowly, or as fast, as you like. Nobody is left behind. When necessary we split groups according to preference.

Do I need to participate in every activity?

No. 
You are free to do as you please, subject to the Terms and Conditions when you sign up. There is no pressure; we want you to enjoy yourself.

What do I need to bring with me?

Other than a sense of adventure and a sense of humour, you mean? Nothing. 
Apart from the appropriate clothing for the climate (check the weather for your time of year) and the activity (whether you are running or riding) and your personal favourite pieces of equipment, we can help you out with everything else. You can hire a bike from us (though you may prefer to bring your own) and we can lend you a helmet, water bottles, spares and tools.

What if I forget gear at home, or lose or break it along the way?

If Andrew and Abi cannot rescue you,  your new friends Jose and Chupete at Base Deportes and Chupe Bikes will be able to help you out with replacement running or cycling gear for good value.
